I’m a Franco-Canadian humanitarian and entrepreneur, with a background that bridges the tech world and grassroots aid work.
After 10 years working in financial markets in London and Paris (BNP Paribas – JP Morgan), I founded an internet company in 1997 (SafeBrands, now BrandShelter, specializing in online brand protection and cybersecurity), which I sold in 2021 to Team Internet, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Since 2022, I’ve been fully committed to supporting Ukraine, both by helping civilian populations affected by the war, and by contributing to the country’s economic resilience through support to local entrepreneurs and startup ecosystems.
Over the years, I have come to know Ukraine closely, and to deeply love this country. I have also built a wide network of contacts across different ecosystems – economic, humanitarian, political, journalistic, and scientific. Today, I have decided to dedicate my professional career to sharing what I love about Ukraine and to helping the country develop, rebuild, and heal.
I mentor early-stage startups in Canada, France, and Ukraine, focusing on international development, business culture, and fundraising. I’ve had the chance to contribute as a mentor at IT Arena, Defense Tech Valley and through the Seeds of Bravery initiative, and by offering one-on-one support to Ukrainian founders expanding internationally.
In the humanitarian field, I am the co-founder and president of The Small Projects Team (thesmallprojects.org), a grassroots humanitarian NGO active across Ukraine. Our work combines emergency relief and long-term recovery, one example I’m especially proud of is our support for the development of amputee football clubs, helping war veterans find strength, dignity, and community through sport.
With dual citizenship in Canada and France, I live and work between two worlds, driven by the belief that meaningful bridges can be built between humanitarian response and entrepreneurial energy to help Ukraine not only survive, but rebuild.
